Dr. Perlmutter is a Board-Certified Neurologist and Fellow of the American College of Nutrition who received his M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was awarded the Leonard G. Dr. Scott Hernberg received his Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology with Distinction as a Henry Rutgers Scholar from Rutgers College in 1976. Dr. Hernberg was instrumental in bringing gastric and cardiac bypass surgery to Atlantic County, NJ.
